Dear Guest,

in accordance with the applicable privacy laws (EU Regulation No. 679 - 2016), we take the opportunity to inform you that your personal data will be processed ethically and transparently, only for lawful purposes, in order to protect your privacy and your rights.

The processing takes place manually and using IT tools and has the following purposes:

To obtain and confirm the reservation of accommodation and other services and to provide such services as requested. As this processing is necessary to define our contractual relationship and to perform under our contract with you, your consent is not required, unless certain "sensitive" information is provided. If you refuse to provide your personal data, we will not be able to confirm your booking or provide you with the requested services. Processing will cease once you have checked out, although some of your personal information may (or in some cases must) continue to be processed for the purposes and in the manner described below;

To comply with our "Public Security Law" (art. 109 Royal Decree no. 773 of 18/6/1931) which requires that we provide the identification data of our guests to the police, for public security purposes, according to the procedures established by Ministry of the Interior (Decree of 7 January 2013). The provision of data is mandatory and does not require your consent. If you refuse to provide this information, we will not be able to accommodate you in our chambres d'hôtes. The data acquired for these purposes will not be stored by us, unless you provide your consent to their storage as required in point 4, below;

To comply with applicable administrative, accounting and tax regulations. Your consent is not required for these purposes. Personal data are processed by us and by our data processors and are disclosed outside the company only when and if required by law. In case of refusal to provide the data requested for the purposes indicated above, we will not be able to provide you with the requested services. The data acquired for these purposes are kept by us for the required legal period (10 years - or more, in the case of tax audits);

To speed up check-in on your next visit to our hotel. For these purposes, after obtaining your consent (revocable at any time), your data will be kept for a maximum of 3 years and will be used the next time you are our guest, for the reasons listed above;

To allow you to receive messages and phone calls during your stay. Your consent is required for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This processing, if consent is granted, will end at the time of check out;

To send you advertising messages and updates on special rates and promotions. To this end, with your consent, your data will be kept for a maximum of 3 years and will not be disclosed to third parties. You can withdraw your consent at any time;

For the purposes of protecting people, assets and company assets, use a video surveillance system for some areas of the chambres d'hôtes, duly identified by signs. Your consent is not required for such processing because it is conducted in accordance with our legitimate interest in safeguarding people and property from potential violence, theft, robbery, damage and vandalism. Surveillance is also conducted for the purposes of fire prevention and occupational health and safety. Recorded images are deleted after 24 hours, except on public holidays or other days when the business is closed; the images are never kept for more than a week. These images are not subject to disclosure to third parties, except as required to comply with specific investigative requests from a court or police.

We do not collect data from persons under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, please do not sign up for our services. Should we notice that we are processing data from individuals under the age of 16, we will promptly remove such data from our records.
