The Chambres d'Hôtes Lo Barba, immersed in the verdant plain of Antey-Saint-André, is located in the Cervino Valley just 10 km from the Châtillon-Saint-Vincent motorway exit and half an hour from the ski area " Cervino Ski Paradise ".

Lo Barba, born from the renovation of a 19th century building, is spread over three floors.

In each room, the architectural details of the Aosta Valley tradition blend with the most modern technologies.

The free parking spaces, the two equipped green areas, the ski-bike room (equipped with boot warmers) and the practical lift that leads directly from the bedrooms to the breakfast room make guests' stay even more comfortable and carefree.

Check-in: to meet the schedule needs of all guests and to guarantee them maximum freedom, we have adopted the self check-in system . The rooms are available from 16.00. At the time of booking we give guests all the information they need to access the facility in complete autonomy.

Check-out: on the day of departure the room must be vacated by 10.30.

CAMERE

ROOMS

The four rooms, two basic - one suite - one two-room suite, have been designed and built to transform your stay into pleasant moments of serenity and well-being.

In each of these the echoes of the rural past meet the comforts of modern living: minibar with water bottles, Nescafé coffee machine with capsules, kettle with tea and herbal teas, LCD TV, safe and wi-fi internet connection.

The bathrooms, in which the stone washbasins stand out, are equipped with professional hairdryers and "Beauty Oil" courtesy line (shower shampoo, soap, intimate hygiene, set of 3 handkerchiefs, vanity set, shower cap, disposable glasses) made with allergen-free fragrance. The main component of olive oil is moisturizing, emollient and protective.

Cleaning and linen replacement are done every four nights. Daily cleaning service is possible upon request.

Inside the rooms it is forbidden to smoke. Smokers are encouraged to smoke on the balconies equipped with special ashtrays.

Rooms:

The modern lighting bodies and the yellow color of the walls give life to the centuries-old stone walls of Azalea, basic room of 26 sqm / 2 beds.

The old wooden beams lying on the ceiling, combined with soft cushions and precious curtains, give Begonia, a basic room of 28 sqm / 2 beds, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Located on the ground floor, it has a covered terrace of 24 square meters overlooking a green area.

In the Dalia suite of 32 sqm / 2 beds, the two-seater whirlpool tub and the velux over the double bed frame a romantic night under the starry sky.

Designed for a family holiday or a stay with friends, the Camelia two-room suite of 45 sqm / 4 beds, consists of a large living area with kitchenette, double sofa bed and satellite TV and a mezzanine with bed. double bed and relaxation corner enriched by a small library.

BREAKFAST

The day in Lo Barba begins in the welcoming breakfast room heated by the splendid pellet stove whose warmth evokes the slow and relaxing rhythm typical of the mountains.

The buffet breakfast, in the name of tradition and the gastronomic authenticity of the Aosta Valley, offers sweet and savory delicacies: hot and cold drinks, white, wholemeal and black bread, toast, hot croissants, honey, jams and marmalades, butter, fontina cheese and mountain pasture tome, yogurt, Valle d'Aosta cold cuts, fresh seasonal fruit, dried fruit, cereals, pies.

We are attentive to all the dietary needs of the guests. If communicated in advance, for those who suffer from intolerances and / or allergies, we prepare a personalized breakfast.

Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 10.00.

On request, both room service and early breakfast are possible.

On request, with a supplement of € 25.00 per night, it is possible to add an extra bed.

The daily cleaning service of the rooms has an additional cost of € 20.00.

The cost of breakfast of € 7.00 per person is not included in the room rate. For children up to 2 years, breakfast is free.

The early breakfast service does not include additional costs.

Room breakfast service amounts to € 10.00 per person.

In the structure we accept animals (dogs and cats) without paying any supplement. Your 4-legged friends can enter the rooms but must not climb onto the beds and sofas and must never be left alone and unattended. However, they are not allowed access to the breakfast room. For animals we provide cushions or cots and bowls for water and food. For a respectful coexistence with all guests, we remind you to bring the bags for manure and keep them on a leash in the two green areas.

The tourist tax is not applied.

We accept payments in cash, debit cards and with Maestro, Mastercard and Visa credit cards.

The balance of the stay is to be paid on the day of departure.

Booking cancellation: 15 days before the arrival date → no penalty.

7 days before the arrival date → payment of 50% of the amount

within 7 days from the date of arrival → full payment of the amount.

SAFETY

To protect the health of guests and to guarantee them a safe stay, we have created a special “Covid-19” protocol.

Based on the indications provided to us by the World Health Organization, we have implemented our cleaning and sanitation standards.

In addition to using the OZONE device (antiviral, bactericidal, purifying, disinfectant, sanitizing and sanitizing), we have adopted the measures listed below:

Staff

All staff members attended online training courses regarding sanitation and preventive measures in the workplace, have individual protective devices to prevent the spread of Coronavirus e have undergone the Covid-19 vaccination

Guests

They must fill out the substitutive declaration of Covid-19 certification.

In all common areas of the Chambre d'Hôtes (reception, breakfast room, ski-bike room, etc ...) guests are required to wear a mask and must maintain the minimum distances required. In particular, in the breakfast room, since the breakfast is organized as a buffet, every time guests get up from their table to help themselves they are obliged to sanitize your hands with the special gel.

Structure

At the reception, all the material (leaflets, brochures, pens, etc.) is sanitized before being delivered.

In every common area, including dehors, sanitizing gels are available.

Both the rooms and the common areas are sanitized with specific chemical products effective against the Coronavirus.

In order to keep the lift keyboard sanitized, it is mandatory to sanitize your hands before each use. The cleaning and disinfection of the rooms and the change of linen are carried out every four nights.

The linen is washed and sanitized according to the guidelines of the European standard UNI EN 14065.

In the breakfast room, the tables have been spaced according to the provisions of law decree n.33 of 16 May 2020 and taken up by the new decree Bis reopening of May 17, 2021.

Check in

To avoid crowds, we have adopted the self check-in system.
